The Shelter Expert is a division of Mansfield Steel Services Ltd, a family-owned company founded in 1998 by the current directors, brothers Gren and Wayne.

From humble beginnings in 1998, Mansfield Steel Services Ltd has maintained a healthy rate of expansion. Relocating in December 2007 provided the company with a larger workshop to achieve a higher capacity of manufactured output and allowed for the introduction of a powder coating facility to the business. Continued growth necessitated expanding the workshop capacity in June 2011, and enabled the separation of the manufacturing and finishing processes, together with the installation of a bespoke powder coating application booth.

From our offices and workshop, we’re able to design, manufacture, finish, dispatch, and install many quality products, and since the relocation in 2007, the company has continued its growth pattern. We’ve diversified to suit both the existing customer base and the changing marketplace. We have strong relationships with many distribution companies and are very proud to manufacture their products.

Our client base reflects the diversity of the services we offer. We’ve worked alongside many of the UK‘s leading companies and carried out installations on behalf of our clients at Schools, Colleges, Universities, Hospitals, private companies, and many development sites throughout the UK. We remain highly competitive as a manufacturer & supplier, and the company is well on course to meet projected turnover and expansion.
