Pet -G UV2 Sheeting Fact Sheet
High specification clear sheeting known as PetG UV2 (Ultra violet protected on both sides) is supplied as standard from the shelter expert.
We only specify Pet-G sheeting with UV protection to both sides.
Note:-Pet-G with UV2 protection is superior to Pet-G alone. If Pet-G sheeting does not have UV protection it will not have the same durability, and it will discolour if used outdoors.
Pet-G sheeting is available in a number of options:-
- Pet-G (This does not have UV protection – suitable for indoor use only, and will discolour if used outdoors)
- Pet -G UV1 (With UV protection to one side only – in our opinion not suitable for shelter applications even when installed correctly, but can be installed incorrectly, in which case it will discolour.)
- Pet-G UV2 (With UV protection to both sides of the sheet – ensures protection irrespective of the sheet or shelter orientation. In our opinion this is the only reliable option for the long term satisfactory performance and appearance of your product)
Please ensure when comparing alternative quotes that UV2 protection is specified, and not that of an inferior product.
Chemical name - Polyethyleneterephthalate Glycol sheet. High chemical and impact resistance. Standard as 3mm thickness, options to upgrade to 5mm.
